Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. In 2018, she won the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her role as actress Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her first career was a children's actress. Then, following a course in the field of Fashion Design, she returned to acting. Her first leading part in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work in projects that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. She also signed up to appear in multiple Tamil film simultaneously. It was A. L. Vijay together and Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare very well, but it was released. In order to fit in larger projects, she was forced to cancel films that she'd been working on for a while. These include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. The result was that she worked on two films in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the main role for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been being delayed from 2015 with the possibility of release in September in 2020, under the name change to Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay in Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on January 17, 2017.
