Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of the singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. However, it was The Bodyguard of 1992 that turned her into one of the top-selling artists in history. The film, and her performance as a character was not appreciated, but the soundtrack as well as her version of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You charted for several months on the charts and she sold over 44 million singles and albums all over the world.
